HOW TO HANDLE STAGE FEAR WHILE PERFORMING STAND UP COMEDY?

There are stand up comedians, who are very comfortable on the stage while there are others, who do not feel easy to be on stage. Stand up comedy is undoubtedly a difficult profession, as you get instant responses, whether applause or unacceptability. You have to deal with the situations immediately and be hilarious enough to get the crowd roll into big laughter. Once on the stage, many thoughts surround you. Will you be able to get a great response from the crowd? Will they appreciate you? Will you be able to make an impact on them? Will you remember all your jokes to deliver them effectively? What if you forget your punch line and get freeze? These are common thoughts that haunt your mind. Those, who are more confident, always overcome, ignore such feelings, and stay focused about their performance. They are determined to perform well and get the crowd diving into crazy laughter.
