Comedy - A stress relief
Everyone faces a phase in their lives when life literally
sucks and one can’t help but stressing the mind and soul. In that phase, if you
have good people around you, they will help you come out of the depression, but
if those people are the reasons behind this, you have got to find another way
escape. I, with all my sincerity will suggest you to watch comedy.
Whenever I’m depressed I watch stand-up comedy, and I can’t
help but laugh out loud. Laughter releases all the stress and depression from
your mind and it helps you come out of that screwed up state.
The other day, I had a fight with my best friend, as she was
getting on my nerves. I came home, feeling bad for what I said to her. She
won’t attend my call; neither did she reply my texts. I started worrying and I
was all stressed up. Then, I thought of watching Dane Cook’s latest stand-up. I
kept watching it for the next hour and laughed my lungs out, without even
thinking of the earlier happenings. It was such a nice way to evade the
depression that when I finished watching it, I was all cheerful.
Even in my normal days, I surf the internet to checkout
latest stand ups. There are lots of websites available to watch stand ups, but
my preferred, say favorite website these days is Laugh Factory. It is an
easy-to-browse-through website, with lots of live comedy show videos, and
hilarious jokes.
Sometimes, I plan to go out and watch comedy live in
theatres or clubs. Being with friends, going out, having some good laughs
together always freshen my mood and gives me that much needed kick start to
enjoy life as before.
I’ll also suggest you to watch standup comedy, whenever you
are in bad mood. It will cheer you up.
